Yun na nga nakapagtataka, the owner must have forgot to lock its doors then the crooks simply hotwired it.
I didn't ellaborate much of its details though.
according to many kotse board posters....VVG daw yang mga yan.......
And don't even have this false sense of security that alarm will deter theives, isang putol lang sa siren wire wala na yan.
Steering wheel locks are pretty much useless coz ang dali iby-pass using a hacksaw and/or replacing the steering wheel itself.
Lessen your chances of theft by never leaving your parking ticket sa car, if possible, ibulsa mo narin yung OR/CR copy mo sa mga parking areas na prone to theft, at least matatagalan yung nagnakaw paglabas sa parking.
Don't forget what happened to PJ-XTC, sa Megamall pa yun.
PJ-XTC changed handle to happiman.
With regards to his stolen Pajero, I heard that insurance paid off, of course at a depreciated value. He was planning to buy another SUV of another brand before he left the country last month. Maybe his plan would have to hold until he returns.
The suv's are hot items now day.
The carnappers either chop the car's up and sell the parts, Sells it in the province, or the local politicians/candidates for 2004 will use it as their service cars in the far away provinces, or just sell it to raise funds:D
grabe na 'to!! 8O astig pa naman yung bagong jimny.. sorry for the loss, hope your friend has insurance para i-claim na lang niya, hassle pa to go and find it kasi bago nga..![]()
I have to practice bringing the OR/CR along with me...
buti nalang yung nakuha kong sasakyan may kasama nang steering wheel lock, I mean sabi niyo konting tiyaga lang ng carnapper maba-bypass din yan, well, at least hindi nako kelangang gumastos pa... ehhehehe!
sayang naman ang Jimny... I'm a Toyota and, recently right before I got my Vitara, a Suzuki person... sayang talaga... kawawa naman may ari...
