Heart goes to the Swift

Hello fellow tsikoteers!

After a couple of months of relentless drive tests and showroom visits, I finally took delivery of a white 2007 Suzuki Swift.

I've been checking out compact cars for a good 6 months. Reason for holding out the purchase was actually the Toyota Yaris. After seeing the Yaris during the launch, I immediately relegated it to choice number 3, behind frontrunners Honda Jazz and Suzuki Swift.

I'm my final week of deciding, I was telling myself that I can't go wrong with either the Swift or the Jazz. In the end though, my heart went to the Swift.

Fun to drive, solid feel, steering audio controls, abs, airbags, push button electric rear hatch and that uncanny resemblance to the mini cooper are just some of the details that will endear this car to future owners. Add to this the fact that you're driving a CBU Japan car, basically the same car they export to Europe and you'll feel the asking price really ain't that high.

There are less expensive alternatives but in the end, as what a lot of Tsikoteers have said, get the one that makes you grin every time you see it parked in your garage

Right on! Glad to hear your search is finally over! Last year ka pa tumitingin, ah! (was that the launch of the Rio when last we met?)

Authoritative? Wahaha... Bullishly opinionated, more likely... but at least with sound reasoning to those opinions... sometimes.
