Suzuki plans to build car plant in PH
MANILA, Philippines - Japan's Suzuki Motor Corp. plans to build a car manufacturing plant in Laguna, beside its newly-inaugurated motorcyle manufacturing plant, The Manila Standard Today reported on Friday.

"We are planning to put up a car manufacturing facility beside our existing motorcycle manufacturing plant in Laguna," Suzuki Motor chairman and chief executive Osamu Suzuki was quoted saying in the report.

No elaboration was made, although Suzuki said the new plant will create fresh jobs for Filipinos, especially those living near the area.

The firm on Thursday inaugurated its P1-billion motorcycle plant in Canlubang, Laguna eyed to produce 200,000 units annually or more than double what the company produces in its Pasig City facility.

YUP chief, that's how ENTHUSIASTIC one can get when it comes to Suzuki cars, which you won't see in me when it comes to the none Top 10 world's largest car manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors

Will choose the more hardcore offroad-capable GV over the egg-shaped with old 1990's engine yet modern daw na Monterosport/ or Strada hehe LAVET LUFET!

    Cheers! Have a good weekend

How many Susuki cars are sold annually? A plant should produce thousands in a month, but if there's no market to absorb it, what's the use of building one? Sa US nga, suko na ang Suzuki...

Ford at Isuzu nga tumiklop suzuki pa kaya.

Ford tumiklop? Lumipat lang ng assembly plant ang 5th-largest auto manufacturing company in the world, BECAUSE they can and BECAUSE they have the money to do it so ....At ang Suzuki naman, pang-9th largest sa buong mundo.

Anyway even when you're not asking as i know you will revisit this thread and perhaps pretend not to have read this one hehe, nothing can still be father from the truth chief, that i am 120% enthusiastic about Suzuki Motors and trust it 120% as well, while sa Mitsubishi Motors, negative 120% naman hehe LAVET LUFET!!!!

    Cheers!

Pero yari pa man pang 9th-largest car manufacturer sa buong mundo pa rin ang Suzuki Motors, so relatively it is doing better worldwide than some of its contemporaries. Obviously, it is doing way better than at none Top 10 and never heard Mitsubishi hehe....

Anyway, when it comes to Ford Motors, it's a corporate decision from the 5th-largest car manufacturer that none of us just mere outside observers looking-in (o nakiki-usyuso, wika nga) would ever understand. Most probably, the current or the then Ford chairman or the heirs of Henry Ford were even the final signatories in the decision to deactivate and abandon the Philippine plant and transfer to Thailand. Big companies like these, say Ford for example, decides not only based on economic factors, but also on social and technical constraints, e.g. social-, security-, resource-, skills-, environment-, political- and other business- and technical-issues. Besides, they have the money to do whatever they want AT and FOR THEIR OWN ADVANTAGE in the long term, which we are seeing now

Hindi kayang i-explain ni idol Syuryuken yan, kahit pa Sure He Can ibig sabihin ng pangalan niya haha :hysterical:

    Cheers chief!

LAVET LUFET!!!!

    Cheers!

    Have a good week.

Mga Mitsu boys at sawsawera gaya mo chief kakaiba, not i hehe

It's them Mitsuboshi boys that have an issue (sa yabang ba naman ng mga yan, kahit nakiki-usyoso lang dito sa Suzuki, at gullible pati kahit anong kasinungalingan ng Mitsubishi naniniwala hehe ), not co-owners of Suzuki cars, who are way more proper and prim ;)

    Cheers!
