The 1.5L engine on the 4 door jimny will have mild hybrid system with significant power boost.

For me a turbocharger is much better for a power upgrade.

btw there's a newer engine the K15C dualjet. but high compression ratio baka maselan sa octane

technically it's possible to have 2-Lo mode i.e. rwd low-range, by simply not locking the front hubs, and climb the steepest mountain roads w/ a small engine

ecosport is one of the worst climbing cars i've driven i took it to daang kalikasan in pangasinan. struggled even at 3000+ rpm at 1st gear

i haven't taken my jimny there yet (break in pa kasi) but it seems to climb better than ecosport coz it's lighter. but the 5dr jimny will bring the weight to ecosport levels so it might have difficulties in climbing on pavement

i think the jimny will look ok as a 5dr especially if they black out the upper rear like on the jeep

buti pa yung rav4 walang solid axles and it's kinda aero so 5dr makes it a viable family car, but jimny can never be a family car. not comfy. not fuel-efficient. not aerodynamic. not spacious. so jimny-long just makes it a bit easier to get into the 2nd row but sacrifices a lot of things like breakover, power-to-weight, cost, etc
