you may want to check out bilstein. i think they make for your car.

how would you know if the shocks that you bought are orig or not?

am having doubts about the KYB shocks that i brought from banawe... it's just been 10K kms since i had it installed and my car's rear (where the KYB was installed) is already bottoming out when there are 5 passengers.

or is this because of tired springs already?

John, it may be the springs. Anong model nung KYB ba kinuha mo? If super, medyo malambot talaga yan. Hanap ka ng Gas-A-Just

my ride has KYB gas-a-just for its rear shocks.
bumababa nga rin kapag 5 ang passengers,
one year old pa lang itong mga shocks ko.
i just thought na matataba lang siguro ang sakay ko.

when i bought them in bestcolt, they were in a black&gray KYB box. orig kya yun? costs me P2300 each a year ago. color gray yung shocks with a red diamond sticker that says "gas-a-just".

Gas-A-Just price would be in the 2K-3K range per piece for sedans AFAIK. FOr SUV/pick-ups, it goes for mga P800-P900 per piece. Highly recommended if you dont mind a slightly firmer ride.

On the shocks that have problems after some time, try to check also with the install procedure. I was talking with the guy in BLazer Mkt. and he mentioned that one problem they saw on customer complaints with their shocks was because of using the wrong procedure in installing the shocks... minsan ginamitan ng vice grip yung shaft, this will cause a slow leak on the shocks.

Miko, Gas-A-Justs for the Pajero cost me P800 flat. Ganda ng handling pare! Yung nakakabit sa Pajero ko dati exactly the same as in your pic kaya lang kulay silver.

best way to know if sira na yung shocks is to push down sa rear. if it bounces up and down more than once then sira na yung shocks.

nope, hindi naman... mahirap ipush so what i do is to jump into the rear seats... swabe naman yung pag angat...

i doubt it's the springs. super bihira lang mag-sag ang springs and it is more likely another part like the shocks or bumpstops like the others have already said
