Hi.
I'm looking for the cheapest brand ng tires for taxi use. (13s for Corollas and 14s for Sentra GXs)
Right now I'm using Wan Li at around 1,250 Php each tire. Meron pa bang mas mura dito?

yup. i agree. considering kung gano kabarubal magdrive mga taxi driver i think dapat din isipin yung safety ng passengers.
going back to topic, the cheapest brand i got before were hankooks which cost around 1.5k. try mo rin nankang (taiwan), sime tyres (malaysia) or acelera (indonesia ata) brands. alam ko medyo ok sila but affordably priced.
i think that the cheapest quality brand of tires is gajah tunggal and kelly tires. i am really not a fan of the korean tires dahil malutong. in fact, before, i am using nankang, pero nasabugan ako sa SLEX that almost cost me my life.
Yep GT tires gives the most bang for buck performance. Di pa madaling mapudpud. Been using mine for over 2 years already and still looks brand new.
how about westlake? they are the cheapest 185/65/14's i scoured around evang, china made nga pala ito..
Mga pare. try nyo yun WESTLAKE brand, matibay na mura pa,maniwala kyo sa akin , yun biniling kong westlake na 185/65/14 matagal mapudpod. mga 1yr plus ko na ginagamit ayos parin.
IIRC, Westlake was one of those 3 China--made brands that was recalled by the US Feds due to inferior quality about 2-3 years ago.
Here's some scoop about Westlake Tires:
http://www.vehicle-injuries.com/tire...e-westlake.htm (don't worry. the site is quick loading)
There is also a list of the tire models available that has possible failures.
