in my case naman, under warranty pa, so by next week sana, makuha namen yung replacement, but thankful na din kase a temporary service tire was lend to us by the shop.

add ko lang about sa tire pressure:

may naka indicate sa gilid ng gulong ang maximum pressure. if your maximum psi is 40psi less 10% . 36 will be your rightful psi. since naka 40series kang gulong, 36psi will do.

ako naka 217/45r17, i have 35psi nitrogen. since 40psi ang max ng tires ko

Too much pressure IMHO. When I was riding on 225/45/17 tires, I set my tire pressure at around 33psi only.

i agree on that however, it is the optimal pressure when ride comfort, fuel efficiency and stable sidewall(on corners) meets each other. i put 32 down psi on it, its too heavy, slow on acceleration and decrease my FC. i followed the max psi minus 10% procedure, and its a too stiff ride and lacks of impact absorbing capabilities. put 35psi and its like riding on my stock shoes(185/70r14) regardless of comfortability issues hehe tagal ko din hinuli yung kiliti ng gulong ko.

and kaya kailangan ko na medyo matigas is because, i have westlake tires, and they are very very very awful tires specially on safety issues when under inflated. libre kase kaya kinuha ko

As long as the overall diameter is the same size, it doesn't matter if you have a 14 inch or a 15 inch spare.

You can get tall safety spares at Banawe, but I don't know if they have 17" safety spares in your lug count... considering your tire size, I presume you're driving a 90's compact japanese car with a 4-lug hub.

The solution to "bukol"? Get smaller mags and bigger tires, or drive reaaaaaaally slowly over potholes...

. . especially if under warranty pa. In this case, better bring it back where you bought it para mapalitan. IMHO, your tire's case is a closed one, can't do anything about it. It's too dangerous to use it further.

I'm driving a 2003 japanese car hehe.. you're right. im now considering going back to 15s or getting 16s. i think i made a mistake in buying 17s the ride is bumpy and i cannot bring it home to our province without worrying too much about the rims. anyway, thanks for the info

What is the overall size of your 17" rim? 225 are kind like you dont have any protection on sidewall. They are too wide.

mas appropriate sana kung kahit, pareho yung pares sa harap, pareho yung pares sa likod. gets? same wear and tear, same threads and same tire. suggestion lang is to buy a pair, put it in front and rotate it after a few thousand kilometers after. i assume your car is a front wheel drive (since its a japanese car), new pair of tires go up front.

And question po ulit.

    Thank you po

parang inverted na bukol? same as what previous post says, safety issues are the extreme concerns.

para sa anung auto ba sir?

for your other question, as long as di pa pumupotok yan gulong na yan, safe pa naman ang lower structures ng auto mu sir. most probably yung mag mu ang unang tatamaan sa defect na yan. add ko na din ang uneven handling kase may tama nga ang gulong mo pero not that much ramdam.

Replace any defective tire, bukol or otherwise....your life may depend on it.

    Try Cooper Zeon XST

ahaha naka BMW ka naman pala eh, why settle on cheap but quality tires? you can even afford 4 new ones eh...anu ba current brand mo?

anyways, ramdam mu na ba yung vibration and yung tunog nung wala pang tama yung tire mu?
