    maganda ba yung steering lock that you can lock on to your brake pedals? sale kasi sa megamall this week end eh!! hehehe guard ata yung brand?

    mas maganda yon steering lock na "the CLub", yon orig ah. it's a red bar attached to your steering wheel aimed at your windshield. that steering lock attached to your brake pedal can be easily kick into extinction. :mrgreen:

    pwede mo rin tingnan yung steering lock na matatakpan yung buong steering wheel (forgot the brand)...sa concorde ko siya nakita...medyo mahal pero di ko maisip kung paano titirahin/sisirain ng carnapper iyon(pwera na lang kung makakapagdala siya ng acetylene)...5k+ yata ang isa...

    sir ang alam ko madali lang tanggalin ang steering lock na sinasabi mo compare dun sa guard lock ni e36speeder.

    hehe...last time kasi nagluko yun susi ng ofismate ko. hindi niya ma release yun steering/pedal lock. sabi ko "ano gusto mo bang alisin?". sabi niya "yes" . ayun tinadyakan ko, tanggal. di ko rin akalain na maalis yon sa ganoon lang.

    now, yun kay chieffy...eh ibang usapan na yan. parang lock ni batman yan ah. :lol:

    madali ba masira yung steering lock na nakasandal sa wind shield? Naisip ko lang paraan para makuha ng carnapper yung auto mo is basagin yung windshield right? 8O

    alam ko nakakagasgas din ng dashboard yun steering lock na nakasandal sa wind shield eh...

    ok din yung steering lock that you can lock on to your brake pedals basta tama ang pagkalagay para kahit tadyakan eh hindi maalis... :wink:

    yung gamit ko is yung parang baseball bat ... nasa ibabaw sya ng steering wheel, horizontal, the length of which tatama sa windsheild and sa hita mo kung pipilitin.

    these are only deterents though ... kung gusto talaga nakawin ang kotse mo, mananakaw at mananakaw yan (sorry for the harsh words, no harm intended though).

    maganda yung naka-advertise dati sa US. parang taser yung steering lock, may electric shock kung lapit ka around 5cm from it. :twisted:

    kiper18 parang ganyan yung concept nung Php 5k+ na steering wheel lock sa mega...mas maganda yung design ng lock sa post mo...

    meron akong di-nisign na circuit for anti-carnap... yun ikaw lang ang makapag-start ng kotse mo... kaya lang di ko pa ma-apply sa trooper ko, since wala pa akong time hanapin yung computer box power supply ng trooper... parang DIY immobilizer

    Just remember that Steering wheel locks are just deterrents. So get one which is visible..... very very visible! These devices are nothing but a nuisance to determined thieves who'll just saw through the steering wheel.

    I use autolock (www.autolock.com).
    IMO, its better than a steering lock which could be easily defeated.

    I had a similar steering lock made by Solex a few years ago. Sayang pinamigay ko. Ok din siya and it does act as a deterrent. Pero for a determined thief I'm sure kaya siyang i-defeat.
