I just had an accident this afternoon.. lost my brakes while i was driving downhill at the flyover of edsa ortigas. I hit another car. It was really odd because my brakes are newly installed and adjusted last saturday. I don't know if there was something wrong with the way it was installed or adjusted. Is it possible for the brakes to be working fine for 6 days and all of sudden lose it?? need your advise asap.. I need to file a complaint if need be.

Honda city 98. Well, im not really sure if it was the brake pads.. pero nung pinatingin ko agad from a shop.. sabi nila d daw pantay ung rear brakes ko kya lumusot. ung isa super higpit.. ung isa maluwag. What do you think? could that be really the cause? some say it could be a leak.. check ko pa kung un nga.

First it's spelled brake not break. What do you mean you lost your brake? Did the pedal just go to the floor or it just wasn't biting? If your brakes weren't bled correctly then you would have noticed this early on when you press on the pedals it will be soft. What the shop said doesn't make sense and you'd have to find out which brake did not function correctly. If the rear was the problem you should have still had enough braking capacity to stop because 80% of the work is done by the front brakes and only 20% for the rear brakes.

It could also be caused by brake fade/glazing. This can easily happen when brake pads are still relatively new and the surface uneven. It is advisable to drive the car slowly and not do any sudden stops for the first 200-300km after replacing the pads to allow the brakes to bed-in.

The good thing is you can bring your own oil and filter unlike sa casa na may corkage fee.

Wheel alignment is also expensive compared sa Tire Center or Servitek.

I'd suggest buying your own consumables. Sa price ng labor sila lamang sa casa and of course, the customer's lounge.

Anyway, any other recommendation sa south especially sa LP?

Ok service and mas mura sa CASA.

Ok naman ang customers cradle in general. Pwede mong panoorin habang ginagawa ang sasakyan, mas mura ang labor kaysa casa, the personnel are courteous, and you can bring your own consumables para mas makatipid.

They're also open on Sundays and some holidays.

Free coffee, wifi, TV sa air-conditioned lounge.

May Motech sa bandang Zapote though I haven't tried it.

Thanks sir! I think hindi yata pwede magdala ng ibang engine oil. Yung sa shell lang pwede sa kanila.
