How much does a wheel rim cost?

I'm new to this things kaya noob ako. hehe BTW, Honda Civic VTi '98 car ko. Gusto ko sana mag buy ng new wheels (yung tubeless type). Are the tires included in the package o separate ang pagkabili nito?

tubeless ang tires, not wheels... depends on what size you want to change to. what's your budget?

15" wheels - 13-14k, add 3.5k per tire
17" wheels - 17-20k, add 4.5-6.5k per tire depending on brand

are you talking about the rims or mags or the tires (rubbers)?

afaik, most of the tires (rubbers) that go out of the market these days are the tubeless types na. for the 2" thick rubbers, i think you are pertaining to the series 40/45 tires. ang nangyayari nito ngayon, is that option na ng buyer or carowner to put interiors na lang sa tires nila.

sa 40k mukhang di pasok sa 17's. dagdag pa konti. around 20k na yung rims then tires siguro around 5500 to 7k (depende sa brand).

17's - mas maporma shempre. downside is mas matagtag mas mahal tires.

BTW my current rim size is 14" and they recommend 16" rim. Ok lang ba ang 16" rim? Kasi sabi nila pag 17" daw ang rim mo meaning manipis yung tires mo. At madali daw masira ang car dahil sa road condition ng Pilipinas. Agree ako sa 16" kayo?

been there done that, i upgraded to 17s (from 16s). limited choices kasi sa styles for 16s. bridgestone potenza g3 is a good tire. that's what i'm using right now, no complaints.

meron naman. our camry has 50 series falken tires on 17 inch rims.

just make sure you stay within 3% difference in diamater from your stock tire's diameter. ..

When changing tire sizes, you must adhere within 3% difference of the diameter of the original tire.

more than 3% and you face the RISK OF BRAKE FAILURE.

RULE #1
Increase section width by 10mm
Decrease aspect ratio by 10 points
Increase RIM diameter by 1 inch

RULE #2
Increase section width by 20mm
Decrease aspect ratio by 20 points
Increase RIM diameter by 2 inch
