dexron 3 po ATFs ko--yun ang gamit din ng AT ng liteace ko,e... oh well, flush ko ko nalang--baka nakasama yung napahalong used ATF..

nawawala ang foaming pag-mainit na...might buy a synthetic fluid, 2 liters lang naman,e...

now ang pagbaklas ang problem--sikip ng van....

well your problem is pag nabasa ang brakes usually umingay ito and malakas magkalawang yung mga rotor disc mo and caliper in your car

for the noise you here while turning ... i think your problem is velocity joint ... meron kasing axle boot which covers your axle near your wheel ... pagbutas yun ... pumaposk yung water ... especially pag nululusong sa baha ... which causes your velocity joint to rust and break ...

advice ... repack your axle or change you velocity joint ... buy a good king or grease to repack it ... not generic one ...

just want to know how much will it cost me for a new velocity joint and repacking the axle???

maraming powersteering fluid sa market ... castrol, STP, honda has its own powersteering ... basta usually powersteering fluid is malapot konti and whitish in color

dun ka lang sa cold ... kasi ibig sabihin yan pag running yung car mo it reaches dun sa hot guage ...

panu yan kung ATF na ang currently na nakafill up, pwede bang haluan ko agad ng PSF o dapat i-flush muna lahat?

try nyo cyclo power steering fluid. yun akin nawala pati yun konting tagas

Is it ok to use locally made power steering hose? my return hose is already leaking.

kung wala kang bugdet sir, pwede locally made hose. ako pinapalitan ko yun main hydraulic hose ng pang truck pero dapat pareho yun diameter nun hose na luma. nawala yun tagas kapag todo nakaliko. try nyo muna higpitan or use sealing products kung di ganun kalakas.

local hoses tend to make noise/ugong pag niliko mo. i would go with the oem ones.

kaya ba DIY flushing ng power steering? meron bang parang drain plug?

yeah pwede ba yun? atf din nalagay ko sa kin, gago yung sa gasoline station ok lang daw yun. sayang ah! pinaayos ko kasi mounting ng engine ko then after a week or 2 npansin ko medyo mabigat or matigas steering ko, lalo na sa reverse or parking. isip ko bka sa fluid ky anapabili ako.. mali pa nailagay.

update: i just purchased an OEM p/s return and a pair of local hose (small). the former was just a bended rubber hose. nothing special but the price. the latter was dirt cheap compared to OEM. 900 each compared to 130 a piece. DIY lang ang install nung small hose pero sa freelance p/s specialist ko pinakabit yung return hose. so far no leaks.

is it possible to install power steering in a vehicle, specifically sa minivan? if that's the case would you recommend any shop for installing such? thanks!

if somewhere in the world that specific car came with power steering then just get those components and move it to your car.

but if wala talaga then you will have to fabricate lots of the parts.

naku, update lang po mga peeps, last night (less than 24 hours nun naglagay ako ng power steering oil) umingay na naman un steering wheel. i had it checked sa shell. then they told me na lumuwag daw un belt ng oto ko, kaya raw po bumibigay un hose, at kaya tumatagas agad ang nilalagay kong steering oil. or either nabasa un hose ng chemical na ginamit sa nun nagpaengine detailing ako (sa denjo, sa tabi ng Kilometer 2) hay, gastos na naman. palagi na lang akong malas sa shops :flush:

I had a similar problem. What i did: i added Power steering fluid to the reservoir and at the same time turning the wheel fully over and over again. The noise eventually disappeared.

question po. i have a honda city exi 97 model.. the power steering fluid is now at minimum level... i am not sure where to buy the power steering fluid. i read from some thread here that i cant use any ps fluid for honda as it could cause damage on ps tank. please help po. TIA ;)

Sa akin di ko alam kung saan ang problem.. basta napansin ko lang di na ganun ung power nya o parang nawala.. kasi pagliliko medyo double effort na di gaya dati na onting turn lang ssunod na..

Pero nung pinacheck ko sabi may problem na rin daw ung hose dapat palitan..
Lagi ko naman check ung fluid parang di naman nababawasan..

Ano po kaya talaga problem at solution?

punta ka sa honda casa meron silang tinda doon about 600pesos 1 liter of psf, saan ba location mo, baka layo mo naman, meron din kasi sa las pinas piyeza meron silang tindang honda PSF

baka nga maganit na mga hoses ng auto mo o sumikip na sa loob-parang ugat ng tao na me problema sa puso) kaya yung fluid ay di na makadaan ng mabuti.....fluid kasi nagtutulak para mas madali ang pagmaniobra mo.....
