What is the proper way of scheduling this? Dapat ba for a certain Tkm na tinakbo ay sabaysabay na papalitan or kung ano lang ang may sira?

Ako kasi, what I normally do is to change only the part that is damaged/due for replacement. The problem here is after a while, ibang part naman ang masisira.

Is there an indication sa major check-ups sa CASA kung anu ano ang mga dapat palitan at a certain distance na tinakbo ng vehicle?

My ride nga pala is L200 '96

Based sa mga nabasa ko mas maraming nagsasabing replace as they break down. May isa o dalawang nagsabi na dapat after x number of KM.

Siguro ang maganda, since nagbaklas na rin lang, tingnan mo na what else is "near break down" and then replace na rin kahit di pa talaga sira.

    Let's wait for the others...

Once you take the suspension down, replace all that you can. Using brand new parts with partially worn parts can usually accelerate wear on the brand new parts.

Plus, since it's all coming off, labor stays the same anyway if you have them replace all the parts.

Trust me, you will never regret refreshing your suspension... the tighter ride and body control that new (stock) parts bring alone are worth the trouble.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Here's the opinion from the perspective of Manufacturing guy. The life span of underchasis parts is of multi-factorial and might be unique as compared to other components of the vehicle.
The significant factor that affects the life of fluids, tires, belts, aircon etc is either the distance covered by the vehicle or the elapsed time that the vehicle was used as there is a strong relationship between parts wear against distance/time variable. That's why car manufacturers explicitly recommend replacement of parts after Xkm or Xmonths, just like putting exprired date on processed food.
Now, the underchassis part usable life is a function of several factors in different level. Road conditions (asphalt, cement, pothole, humps, etc), driving style (kaskasero, stop/go, walang paki sa lubak), load (ilan ang sakay), etc. These factors varies from driver to driver, location to location, and needs which makes it difficult for car manufacturers to recommend replacement schedule or preventive maintenance. Manufacturer has no control of this condition and is usually dependent on driver's "habit".
In statistics, we have two types of variations; common and special. Wherein common variation is due to random cause and this is the case of fluids, belts etc in which life can be projected. Special variation is due to assignable cause (nalubak, nabali ang suspension sa sobrang bigat) in which life determination is not
    straightforward.
What is needed is sensitivity of the drivers on changes of vehicle performance and his driving style, road conditions effects to the vehicle suspension and underchasis. Hopes this help.

yup i agree. since suspension parts work together and are inter-connected in someway the best is to replace all that you can if a part of the suspension system breaks down. like kung shocks lang naman ang may defect at na-detect mo early na may defect na nga, you can check kung ano pa yung nadamay na parts and replace them.

When i did a replacement of our CEfiro's underchassis parts, sinabay ko:
    - shocks
    - tie rods
    - rack ends
    - shock mounts
    - Ball Joints

Felt nice and solid right after.

In contrast, when we did a repair on our AE111 Corolla, we changed the bushings, rack ends, and ball joints but left out the tie rods... After a few months, may bagong kalampag/looseness which was traced to the tie-rods. :P

Thanks sa mga replies mga bossing. Well, I guess every driver needs to be sensitive na nga lang if ever they feel something wrong already with their underchassis parts.

Fieldmaster: Thanks for the very thorough explanation

Vinj: Pinacheck ko kanina yung mga pang-ilalim ko. What my mechanic did was just to tighten something sa pitman arm. Ayun ayos na...I gave him P20.00 pang yosi..hehe

ako naman. pag ball joint or tie rod basta dalawa sila sabay na. saves you the expense of having to align your car with every part you replaced.
