    Hey Guys,

    thanks

Definitely costs cheaper per repair/refill. At 350/piece, plus labor then you'd have to repair it again maybe twice a year if you don't get lucky and the whole system leaks.

Then compare a new shock which costs less than 1000/piece and labor which will last a couple of years or more.

You do the math, I hate computations. :D

If you are cutting costs in your maintenance, please do it wisely.

I have already tried those refills from previous rides which was only used for city driving. It did last as much as it did cost me, about a week or two. Then I had to redo and change all shocks for new ones, which costed more than I should have done in the first place.

i wouldn't advise repairing shocks. especially when replacement shocks are cheap lang naman. save yourself the hassle and extra cost and go for the brand new replacement shocks.

pare ko, kapapalit ko lang ng shocks.
550 lang for a brand new kyb (fluid) 850 kung Gas, made in Japan. I think a brand new fluid type shocks is cheaper in the long run...

some shocks come with the bushings already. some don't. usually, the more expensive brands are also more complete when it comes to parts such as thisÜ

KYBs come with bushings. OME's bushings are even Polyurethane.

Yup, get KYB's. Torture tested na ang mga yan. And since everybody thinks its a crappy brand, mura siya. :D

    Familiarity breeds contempt.

IMO, KYB should re-introduce their performance line of shock absorbers. Image leader lang kung baga. Dati may KYB na red akong nakita, adjustable damping pa.

Zanch, Yung mga sub 1k na KYBs, usually are the simple ones, like those on a Pajero, for example. For sedans, the price is usually around P1200 up.

i haven't seen any na below 1000 yet. for cars mga 1500 and up yung price depending on the model of the car (i.e. for the lancers mas mahal yung shocks because of the suspension design kaysa sa sa civic)

the red KYB's are the AGX line. 5 way adjustable yung ride nilaÜ
