this proposition is dangerous. your tire width is only 6.889 inches and your wheel is 8 inches. the tire bead might not hold air and if it does, it is dangerous when you make turns with thrust loads applied to the sidewall of the tire

205 mm is about 8.07 inches. this width is okay to use with 8 inch wide wheels. you may drop the profile but check that your powertrain can be reprogrammed with the new overall diameter tire. if you have non computer controlled transmission, it might be okay. 205/50R15 is a tad too large and 205/50R14 is a little bit too small of a diameter for a replacement for what you have now
