Not sure about the 03 but the 05-07 facelift had Tokiko Gas shocks. I changed to KYB gas on mine; no problem with the ride either. Soft with heavy body roll pa rin. :D
^same lang din.
my vios uses the tokico struts (oem ng toyota yata to) pero fluid type. changed it to KYB gas type
Not on an Altis though, pero sa Corolla rin. I am using KYB Gas shocks sa rear then OEM pa rin sa front. Yung OEM rears pa lang naman bumigay eh. Pero kung yung OEM shocks ko sa harap maging faulty na rin, KYB gas shocks pa rin ipapalit ko if not KYB short struts para medyo bumaba pa yung front. We'll see.
I have the same car as the TS. How much kaya to replace the front shocks, assuming KYB gas shocks ipapalit.
KYB gas type na rear nasa around 2.5k to 3k ang price range.
most probably nasa around 3.5k+ yung KYB gas type front shocks.
Kamusta si JP Wheels now? I used to go there for repairs when gasoline and toll fees was cheaper since they were good at diagnosing kalampag issues on our cars. I'd have them check the problem out then i would still drive to Banawe to buy parts and go back to them for the install.
I have to change my front shocks soon as well (i just changed the rears before). Will go for KYB gas.
Yes, they're good per feedback and my own experience before (but that was quite some time ago already, when they were still on Presidents Ave. in BF). Pricing is fair just as well and based on what you got, i think i may go to JP again when i change the front shocks on my '07 9th gen.
