i bought a pair of kyb rear gas shock absorbers for my lancer at best colt in banaue last april. sila pinaka-mura nuon when i canvassed for a pair of shock absorbers. P1300 each, tapos P400 ang labor.
of course, fluid-type of KYB shocks ang cheaper, less than a thousand.
mas mahal ang front shock absorbers nga pla.

All shocks are prone to bottom out if not setup properly.

    spazzkid,

yes, kung lowered oto mo it would be better for you to get gas shocks instead of fluid.

Fluid shocks tend to overheat and lose their firmess. Not good for rough roads or lots of cornering.

    orly,

    2400 each pati sa likod?

ewan ko lang ha, not sure about Mazda's (626 right?) pero ang pagkaka-alam ko kasi dapat mas mura sa likod.

yup... 2400 each. yun na ang ok price, marami-rami din akong na-canvass. geo626 was also telling me that time na ganun talaga ang ballpark figure.

    orly,

I asked my friend who has Tokico's on his honda, and he told me that the price of his shocks were all the same for front and rear.

Siguro ganun sa Tokico, nasanay kasi ako sa KYB na mas mura ang likod kesa sa harap.

any noticeable gains in ride performance pag yung harap gas shocks at yung likod liquid? what are the stock shocks that came with 95 corollas? liquid? gas? am not sure kasi eh. and im getting short shocks for the front eh, im not sure if im going for liquid or gas (kasi nga di ko alam kung gas or liquid ang rear).

dunno 'bout performance, pero medyo matagtag ang all-gas. although medyo mabigat ang 626, so it's not so bad..

Ang kagandahan ng Gas Shox is kahit puno ka...nde gaano babagsak ung likod..unlike pag-fluid kitang-kitang puno ka..kasi bagsak ung likod ng auto..lalo na kung naka-sounds ka na mabigat ung box and everything..mdyo bagsak ung likod...performance wise...mas maganda ung kapit sa corners..kasi mas matigas sya compared sa fluid and less body roll,...ung auto ko naka Tokico Gas shox..it cost 10k for all 4 corners...2.5k each...kahit loaded ako ng 6 people avg weight is 110lbs.. nde gaanong babagsak...kung baga papantay sya sa harap...ung height ng likod...Hope this helps...:D :nerd:

If for everyday driving ... get the KYB GR2 shocks/struts. If you like the ability to change handling characteristics, get the KYB AGX Adjustables shocks/struts.

maveric, sa tingin ko tama lang yata yung price na yun for your car. Kse I paid $365.00 (On sale pa) for front and rear. 4-way adjustable ang front and 8-way adjustable rear yung para sa car mo yata and $139.00/ea front and $88.00/ea rear
