    Can someone please suggest a good vulcanizing shop in the vicinity of Pasig [or anywhere else where the work satisfies you]?

    We all want a good shop with a legitimate pricelist and charges you fairly. We won't mind paying a little extra if they have good equipment and provide good quality work...

    Please people, let's compile good shops for the benefit of everyone

    Best Regards!

    If there is a Goodyear Servitek branch near your area, I think they provide good vulcanizing services.

    It depends on the kind of damage the tire has. A bigger hole will require a bigger "cold patch". I haven't been to Servitek in a while (no flats lately) but I estimate the service to fix a flat tire to be P200-P400. You may consult the yellow pages and give them a call for a quotation.

    Sorry. Just need to revive a very old thread instead of making a same thread.

    May maisa-suggest ba kayong reputable vulcanizing shop around Pasig? Mukha kasing may slow leak yung rear right tire namin eh. While the other tires lose around 2-3 psi in a week or 2, nasa 4-5 psi ang dinadrop nung rear right. First time kasi maencounter kaya I want to have a peace of mind pag naglong drive na kami.

    Thank you and sorry.

    More or less, all vulcanizing shops are the same naman. Baka sa pito or tire stem yung leak mo so consider replacing that din. Di naman gaano mahal yun (can't remember how much, but it's not expensive).

    Make sure walang bata rin fooling around in your garage - dati, it turned out my daughter and yung mga pinsan niyang magagaling, naaliw sa hissing sound pag pinindot yung air release. Kamot ulo kami lahat magkakapatid bakit nababawasan ng hangin yung mga cars sa garahe, until nadiscover ng brother ko in the act yung pinag-gagawa ng mga bata.

    Thanks for the tip sir. Sige mag-ikot ikot ako sa weekend para magtingin ng shop. Wala naman mga batang makukulit so safe kami dun. Hehe. Pero I remember nung bata ako gawain ko rin yun. Hahaha.

    Just make sure if they need to plug a leak na cold patch ang gamit nila at hindi tusok.

    Make sure din na may tire changer sila, yung iba mano mano, kawawa ang rims mo. Also, as a personal preference, mas gusto ko tutukuran nya ng jack stand yung vehicle para safe, di ako kampante sa naka tukod lang sa jack, lalo na kung hydraulic, pag di maiwasan, nilalagay ko yung crocodile jack ko as support, mahirap na, baka bumigay or worse kung bottle jack, tumumba.

    Oh, that's a good thing!

    Problema nga lang dun is, mabuti sana if close to an S&R branch ka ma-flat.
    And even if nandun ka nga, sana during hours na bukas sila!

    ===
    Well, I guess you can just get by on the spare muna and bring the tire to them, pero napansin nyo yung trend sa mga OEM supplied spare tires lately like sa Honda CRV? They don't provide a real tire & rim anymore. Talagang designed for temporary/emergency use para makaabot ka lang sa vulcanizing shop.

    Hmm... what if nasa rough/dirt road ka sa province na malayo ang vulcanizing? Kakayanin kaya ng supplied na reserba yun?

    ===
    Honestly, ampanget nga eh, lalo na for vehicles na nasa rear door hatch ang mount ng reserba. A nicely designed & sporty looking SUV, with an "anemic doughnut" spare tire on the back! Talagang cutting corners ang manufacturer.

    Yun regular size ang original. Mga feeling JDM lang mga naka CRV na donut spare tire nasa likod.

    when my innova's original mag-ed spare was stolen years ago, i wanted to get a donut to replace it. but i couldn't find one, then.
    so i opted to get a steel revo rim. para hindi attractive sa subsequent magnanakaw.
