ride is L200 pickup.
I've changed the rotors with RICO brand 24 mm and pads with the Vetto brand.
Piston is bottomed-out on the caliper housing but the lock bolt housing (not the caliper mounting bolts ha) won't go in flush with the caliper housing.
Are my pads too thick? can i reduce the pad thickness by "sandpaper method"? the rotor is of the same spec with that of the original rotor
getting frustrated for over 3 hours of wrestling the caliper housing. first time the inner pad won't go in so i ground the brake pad steel plate (not the pad material) then it fit flush with the anti rattle shims. after bottoming out the piston, the caliper lock bolt won't fit flush....try again tomorrow.
help please....
