    Recently nag stuck up yung Front Driver side ko na brakes and ang culprit is yung sliding pin is madumi na and wala ng lubrication. Kailagan ng gamitan ng martilyo para matanggal yung pin. Nilinis lang at nilagyan ng Ordinary Grease then OK na.

    Nabasa ko kasi sa Net Welcome to guzzle's Front Caliper Slide Pin Upgrade Web na dapat pala hindi petroleum grease ang gagamitin pang lubricate ng sliding pin. Saan po ba makakabili ng High temp na synthetic brake Grease??

    And also kung may nabibili po ba na rubber boots lang na cover ng sliding pins?


    Yung car pala is 2004 Rav4 1.8 MT

    Silicon or Ceramic Grease. Nakabili ako nyan dati sa Handyman. Selected automotive shops also have that.

    Thanks try ko maghanap sa mga malls neto. Kaya kaya matanggal ng Brake cleaner yung existing petroleum grease na nilagay sa pins?

    Tried kanina sa Handyman, ACE sa Festival mall and True Value sa ATC wala ako nabili. Nag stuck up na naman preno so binalik ko sa mechanic. Sira na yung rubber boot na naka kabit sa may loob ng sliding pin (hindi yung cover). Nung tinanggal yung rubber boot bumabalik na ng maayos yung sliding pin.

    also, is this the same as anti-squeak paste na ginagamit sa brakes?

    afaik meron super lube distributor, yung white synthetic grease sa kalookan. cheaper pa than buying online (sulit.com.ph).

    In concorde megamall they sell Cyclo Silicon Grease for brake components. I a bit expensive I think but its much better than ordinary grease.

    TS, nakahanap na ako ng synthetic lithium grease.

    Top1 brand. meron nito sa DIY store. try to check at ace or handyman nalang.

    meself uses white lithium grease (sprayable)....3-in-1 brand.

    AFAIK available nga yansa mga autoshops. Maganda yan, I've been using that ever since I had a car.

    Saw that grease sa mga autosupply. Read some article sa net hindi din advisable yung lithium grease dun sa rubber parts dapat talaga silicone based like yung permatex sa previous post.

    wheel bearing grease will melt and might damage the rubber boots for the brake caliper guide pins..

    For bendix I'm not sure.

    Pero if you can consider another brand, mas madali pa maka kita ng Wurth
