It's pretty easy to pass for an M+S designation. It means mud+snow pero on-road and not off. Ang E150 M+S ang goma. Yung Besta ko dati M+S din. M+S usually cheaper than the A/T or M/T variant. Example: Michelin LTX M/S mas mura sa LTX A/T.

A/T+S = All Terrain + Snow. Again, madali lang kasi makapasa to get the "+S" designation.

Yung Starex van na 4x2 namin naka Michelin LTX AT. So far ok naman ang performance. But I never took it for offroad sessions, rough roads only.

Yung A/T tires ba mas madaling masira sa highway driving or city driving than non A/T tires?

Mas matibay ang M/T tires. Reinforced ang construction niya. Hindi siya prone to bukols or punctures. Mitsubishi has already switched back to A/T tires for their Pajero 4x2's (ginawa kasi nilang H/T tires for a while).

In the case of mud tires, mas madali siya mag-wear pero mas matibay din siya.

Suggestions naman on what tires to get for my Gen 1 RAV. Size niya now is 215/70/R16. Gusto ko sana yung itsura parang pang offroad though I dont go offroading kasi wala akong offroad capable car.
One more question, If I were to use offroad tires, will it have a big effect on my gas consumption?

I could safely estimate a 235/70R16 on stock mags. Halos wala naman effect kung meron man very minimal that you won't notice it, that's based from HT to AT tires.

accdg. to some websites, pde daw ang 235/70/R16 sa auto ko. Any idea how much one of these would cost? How about ride quality? Maingay ba or mas tahimik? Sorry dont know a thing about these eh. Thanks

So that you have an estimate, I bought my Michelin LTX AT 225/75R15 at P3750 each.
