    Is it because mas maganda ang make and quality ng mga wheels ng C1 kaysa sa Rota?

    Not necessarily, I think the main difference would be the fact that those are imported wheels, taxes, tariffs etc... While Rotas are local... In addition, economies of scale din yan, Rota supplies for most local OEM wheels so naturally their cost of purchasing raw materials are cheaper...

    Lastly, marketing, of course.

    Another factor why some wheels are expensive is the manufacturing method used by Rota as compared to imported brands. Most Rota wheels are cast or light pressure forging which are inexpensive but results in wheels that weigh more.

    As compared to Concept One, some of ROTA's mags are lighter.

    ROTA is also considered an inexpensive brand in the US, hence, its extensive use by trackday afficionados and autocrossers. ROTAs are usually lightweight and they're cheap. While they're not the strongest wheels, you're not going to cry over them when you kerb them in a race as much as you would over lighter and more expensive sports mags.

    ROTA pa rin! Support the local industry!

    silverwind and c1 are owned by the same family/group of people as far as i know.

    now as for the rota vs c1 debate, 1 is marketed by bling bling while the other is marketed on the race track.

    it's your choice.

    Rotas are in the mid 20s to low 30s when we're talking about 17s.... C1 mga 40+ ata.
