Changing of Tires / Increasing Tire Size query.

G'day,

My car is a 2001 Toyota Echo Verso, (Fun Cargo in Japan but local version) I plan to change its tires and mags from 14" to 15".

From the stock mags to the Toyota Altis 1.8 Mags (Brad Pitt version, the one before the current model)

What tire size should I get so that it would fit? Are there any other issues I should think about?

I know I might get a slight increase in fuel consumption. Am I right?

Need the experts advice on this.
