Heavy Steering After Repair of Rack End Pinion

Hi guys. is just had my toyota corolla xe 97 rack and pinion repaired 5 days ago. before that, sobrang lakas ng tagas ng power steering ko. Every after two days mg fill ako. Is it nor mal after the repair i'll encoutner ehavy steering? How many more days will i stil encounter this problem.

i would say, give it a couple of weeks to settle in. it could either be that the rubbers have been settled already or you are used to the heavy steering na.

1D4LV is right. Give it time then it'll lighten up again. Ganyan din kasi nagyari nuong nagpa-repair ako ng leak ng PS, palit buong assembly. Akala ko sira na din ung PS pump pero gumaan din after 2 weeks

what do mean heavy steering? parang pawis steering? dapat hindi, slight lang ang pagbigat dapat. after 2wks dapat ok na yan if not balik niyo sa gumawa since under warranty pa yan.

kung tama ang pagka rebuild ,you don't have to experience a heavy steering.
