    Guys,

I have a '03 Mitsubishi Lancer and I'm planning of changing my tire. My stock is Goodyear Eagle NCT3 195/55 R15. What do recommend brand of tire na da best in terms of 1) RIDE COMFORT, 2)EFFICIENT in terms of fuel economy, 3)PERFORMANCE and RELIABILITY? Gusto ko kasi SAME SIZE of tire pa rin.. Thanks..

    my brand preference would be:
    1) bridgestone
    2) yokohama
    3) dunlop

the potenza g3 would be a good fit for your car..

I know that all brands have good tires and bad ones. However, my family and I have had pretty bad experiences with Dunlops.

I don't know the models since the Expe and BM belong to my dad and I have already moved out. The Dunlop on the Expe blew while they were on SLEX while the Dunlop on his BM is now oblong.

The Dunlop Lemans RV on my van is also defective, ply seperation.

    My 1 peso.

I would prefer a bridgestone. Choose the one that is imported and not from taiwan or china.
Yokohama is also good pero problem made in the philippines na. If you can find one that is imported mas gusto ko yokohama.
Japanese tires are good. Good for Asean countries.

i like bridgestone the most, and we've been using them almost exclusively on all of our family vehicles from cars to vans to pickups.

havent had much luck with pirelli and michelin. i find pirellis stiff, while every single michelin we've used blew up on us at some point.

    Not many people know Falkens.

That's why I think rating tires by brand is kinda stupid. I've had good Yokohamas and bad Yokohamas... terrific Bridgestones and so-so Bridgestones... bad Goodyears and good ones...

Some people complain Gajah Tungcal truck tires are crap. I've had three sets of Gajah Tungcal Champiros on various cars. Great tires. They don't wear down quickly, they grip about as well as cheaper tires from the "name" brands (but not as much as real sports tires), and I've never had a blowout in one. I can't say all Gajah Tungcals are good, but I can say Champiros are decent.

The best question is... what's a good tire, period.

I have a friend running Falken Azenis, terrific track tires... Ziex? Haven't tried them yet.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    I prefer rolling on Bridgestones.

I've tried the Turanza GR-80 and the Potenza S-02 Pole Position. GR-80s are great for daily driving, while the S-02PPs are just phenomenal tires, if noisy.

Toyo makes good tires too - I'm currently shod with Toyo Proxes 4s. The T1R is also a good choice if you can find a size that fits.

Goodyear used to be the sole brand Pinoys want for their cars. Yokohama and Bridgestone have approximate its popularity nowadays.

di din masyado sir, have always been a fan of yoko's and bridgestone form my lolo's bridges sa owner before 1989(di pa ko buhay nun) to our yoko toyota's 1990 gli and 1995 FX. palit lang ng ibang brand kase sa budget,. and alangan sa bridgestone ng altis ko dati kase pumutok na twice sa 4 na gulong. but ok din goodyear doubtless.

What's your recommended brand of TIRE?
