I was on my motorcycle this morning headed toward Makati. I saw one at the entrance of the Cubao EDSA underpass. It looked more like a caltrop. I thought nothing of it, remembered it when I saw this thread.
Was victimized by it. On my way to work today, I spotted several cars with flat tires right before I made a right turn towards Buendia. I just passed the Jaguar showroom when a jeepney driver honked and signaled to me that my right front tire was flat!!! I had to pull over and change my tire. When i got to a vulcanizing shop, I had the rear tire checked -- and what do you know? May tama na rin!!! BAD TRIP!!!
To that jerk who put those spikes or caltrops there...makunsensiya ka naman!!!

Kiper,
I think the spikes or caltrops were somewhere between Cubao and Shaw. The vulcanizing shop I went to was near Shopwise in Makati area na since it was nearer my office.
Later in the afternoon, I heard a DZMM report saying that at least 12 vehicles got flat tires.
Walang kaluluwa nag gumawa nito. May nasaktan ba sa mga victims? Pano na lang kung may emergency, they caused a traffic jam that may have denied a patient being rushed to the hospital a chance to life.
