    Just noticed that my left cv boot is already torn in half during change oil. I think theres a way to change it without removing the whole axle. Anyone has this experience before? How much is the labor for this? Corolla 97 gli here. Please also recommend a good shop

    where's your location?
    the cv boot, is around 1.5k/pair maximum. however, since medyo punit na, baka kailangang grasahan yung cv joints.
    siguro, prepare 3k for everything to be safe.

    Usually ganun din. Kasi tinatanggal din kasi ang cvjoint para irepack bago palitan ng cvboot.

    Kung palit cvjoint lang pareho pa din naman trabaho

    As a preventive measure, kung magpapapalit ng cv boot isabay mo na rin papalititan yung cv grease...

    For sure may humalo na dumi sa grease ng cv boot na nasira
