Paano po kaya masoso lutionan tong prob ko? my ride is a Lancer 2001 mx.

your response is highly appreciated. Thanks

you mean the strut mount? most have ball bearing or flange bearing around the strut rod for rotation. the bearing sometimes gets rusty and gets stuck.

That's right. Depending on how old your car is, the lubrication may have already dried up. Dirt and mud can also make their way up there and accumulate over time.

Worst case is that the strut mount may have sustained damage (or neglect) that the ball bearings fell off or disintegrated.

Sir, nilinis din po nila and they add lubricants. Still the tok tok sound remains. Bushing type po yung mounting. Nagpalit na rin po. At ang pinaka bearing po nya is yung parang plastic insulator (in beetween the Mount and the plato).

the shaft of the strut has either a flat side or a spline, chances are, the hole on the strut mount plate and the shaft did not line up and the shaft has not bottomed on the plate leaving a slack that produces a slapping sound as the suspension bounces and jounces

If that is the case, then it is time to look for another shop to have it done right.
