    Hello,

Im on the market for new tires. Car is lancer with 14 inch mags. I have narrowed down my choices to 3. Since I am on the highways a lot, importance is on good tire grip on both dry and wet seasons.
My 3 options are: (with Freddie's pricing)
    1. Goodyear Ventura (2300)
    2. Dunlop LM702 (2100)
    3. Yokohama ES100 (2500)

Anyone care to share their experiences on this tires? Whats the best buy based on my requirements?
Should I just save money and get ducaro ga or yok s306 (been reading on previous posts on this forum)? Thanks.

i think the 3 tyres that you have chosen are performance tyres already. ducaro ga and s306 are more of "commonly" used tyres. this would really depend on your budget. i've seen a lot of cars use LM702.

yokohama S306 are OEM tires for a lot of vehicles. medyo hindi maganda ang performance nito. sa civic sir ko dati, nagkabukol 2 tires within a year.

i think yokohama is the OEM tires of toyota, mitsu and nissan. sa honda ata, i believe the SIR's have them. hehe medyo common na ang S306.

AFAIK, the Goodyear Ducaro GDI is also suited for wet-weather performance due to its V tread design. And the last time I checked, 185/65 R14 costs only 2 thousand each. The Dunlop LM702 is also worth trying.

Ive been using lemans for a long time na, from 16" to 17" tires with 40 to 45 series and I gotta admit its noisy but its really comfy. i love em. Bang for the buck coz its cheap and its much comfy than other higher priced tires out there.

I'm using Yokohoma ES100 now. Though wet grip is excellent, they're noisy and the ride is stiff.

Tried many other brands before but i think goodyear ducaro or NCT5 works very well. They're quite comfy and I think with a 5-year warranty.

    Currently have a 185/70 R14 on my wife's car and a 195/60 R15 on my car both NCT5 (NCT5's a tad cheaper than ducaros).

...di naman, saken almost 4yrs na (LM701). no bad experience from it at tahimik naman. pero nagpalit nako ng 2 (LM702) sa rear.

...reasonably priced pa, got my LM702 for 4.8k/each. r17/45/215.

Thread life is very good. I think they still have about 50% remaining with 2 years of use.
