Kelan kaya lalabas ang turbo version... Yong Thailand eh matagal nang lumabas. Anyway just came back from Pinas' and I still have a turbo lag....I mean jet lag.
One week in the province and one week in manila, isang forester lang ang nakita ko... sa Tagaytay Highlands pa.
R1 looks cute but i still associate a bug/beetle (as pictured) with the old volkswagen beetle. The forester's look has improved kahit lights and bumper lang ang nagbago. I like the mags of the old one better. I also dream of the turbo version...
the US-spec Subaru Forester looks a little different from the Asian version. It might be all-new there but this small ute shoulders on here Stateside since coming out on May 2002(that's 3 years ago...)but still kicks the Escape,Rav4,CR-V,Tribute,et al's butts not in sales but in its qualities. BTW, we get the 2.5 flat-4 good for 165hp, and the turbocharged version with 210 horses. Subie Forester, USA
Ang bumubili ng Subaru dito sa States ang habol performance at hindi looks, kaya mas malakas ang benta ng ibang car manufacturers. Walang nakakakilala sa Subaru noon bago nilabas ang WRX dito. I have a 2005 Legacy GT and before that a 2003 WRX sedan.
CarandDriver has voted the Subaru Forester 2.5 L Turbo as best compact SUV for 2003 and 2004. What SUV in any category can go 0-60 mph in 5.3 secs. Even the Porsche Cayenne Turbo can't touch this 210 Hp 235 ft-lb dynamo. The 2006 Turbo boasts 230 Hp. I hope this can beat the previous 0-60 mph record.
I would like to add that even ConsumerReports chose it as best compact SUV for 2004 and 2005. ConsumerReports is a very objective authority since it BUYS the vehicles they test and subject them to reproducible torture tests. Go to www.consumerreports.org and see their most outstanding vehicles.
