now am more curious kung ipapakita na ba in public yung brother ng FT86 or just still the same looking STI again with a new wing lang... from the looks alone lang kasi, this looks like a 4 door since may parang hiwa na visible sa gilid kahit may cover. pero yung rear i think this is in between the hatchback and the sedan kung huhusgahan ko ito sa picture alone. pano ba iexplain yun? hmm.. check nyo na lang yung rear sa spy shots ng upcoming 2door impreza na brother ng FT86 to get a hint to what i'm trying to explain :p

looks better with a wider stance than the pre-facelift Impreza.

I, though, have a question. if this Impreza has the same chassis as the pre-facelift one, does this new one use wheel spacers to achieve the wider look so that it would be just right with the new wider fenders?

I don't know if I missed reading it in the articles provided in the links or it just doesn't say it. I ask this because if it doesn't employ or use wheel spacers then it would mean it uses a new wider chassis to accommodate the new look.

I know! Right? Pero functional yan at hindi bling. I saw a vid of a WRX that flipped due to a broken/removed one.

Yung naka-spoiler, may 2.0L BOXER engine and 6-speed manual transmission. The other pic without the spoiler is equipped with the 2.5L BOXER engine with 5-speed automatic na may matching paddle shifters.

I guess we can't wait for MotorImage to bring this soon. We think....

and FYI, the chassis code for the WRX STi Sedan is GVB (for 2.0L 6MT variant) and GVF (for 2.5L 5AT), done some research at the Japanese Subaru site.

Not just WRX, its WRX STi lang ang na-offer. Still, the WRX STi has some wide body on it. Thankfully not a dull A-Line in sight, even the A-Line sedan without a spoiler.

Tip lang sa mga first owners ng bagong WRX STi 4-door, you can keep the wing on the back or try removing it on your own. You decide.
