Still thinking Subaru? Short term, they might still be fine.

Perhaps the raised Impreza, aka XV / Crosstrek will be an exception? [emoji12]

Oh wait, it also runs in CVT...

Subaru even has dealership Tech shortage. Their valve spring recall has been disastrous.[emoji852]

Is it getting harder to get spare parts? What year model is your Impreza?

The 3rd gen hatchback is one of my favorite. If Subaru offered the hatchback for the newer model, I would have bought that instead of the Mazda 3 skyactiv hatchback.

Yes it is! Good thing that I did some research on CVTs. That convinced me to get a Mazda instead of a Subaru.

MT impreza hatch , 2008. ATs of that generation are 4ATs, no fun.

"Majority of filipino owners here dont harurot 200,000kilometers. "

any idea what's the usual distance a car racks up in its filipino lifetime?

Here's a more nuanced take on the Consumer Reports most and least reliable cars:

"Here Are the Most and Least Reliable Cars According to Consumer Reports" Jalopnik article: https :// tinyurl.com/y4jjuubg

What buyers should keep in mind when referencing these lists is exactly what aspects of the car did CR find troublesome; just because a car is deemed not as reliable as others doesn’t mean it’s going to leave you stranded on the highway.

Ours do. Yes, minority though. Most who get USED can easily have beyond that clocked.
Planned obsolescence is real. Those buying Pre-loved or Pre-abused should be made very aware.

Exploited Yojin, but still far from 200.[emoji4] It's lil sibling, still on yojin, alternates the daily chores. These nonCVTs, we plan to keep. Dying breed.[emoji20]

My family owned a Toyota Corolla 1989 model (manual tranny 1.3L). Its odometer was more than 300Tkm for a span of 20 years. It's the most reliable car I have driven

Our 1st gen CRV is nearing 160T km on its 20th year. We plan to keep using it beyond 200Tkm as long as we can still buy spare parts. So far parts are very abundant, this car is so easy to maintain unlike the newer models.

not many studies have been done on this.. majority owned are still original buyers. mga vehicle savvy of course have maintained their vehicles better. si cat meron atang 2011 altis na low mileage. she got another altis na low mileage din. even docs wigo is low mileage. civic namin low mileage din 3yrs and under 30000km.

karamihan sa mga sasakyan sa condo low mileage. condo living has lowered mileage on most because the workplace has been nearer.

10000-15000km/year is my guess for some..
