Today Mar. 9, 2010 around 8:05 am I was going to my office, when I was making my u-turn I've thought it was a clear path since there's one approaching tricycle came slow down just to give in to me but suddenly when I was making a move to park it already a fast dare devil tricycle came to overtake at the lane when i was moving on, he made a adrenalin cut but still impacted on me at right side of the taillight, broken and the like.....when i came to see the damage of my truck, the madly driver uses and vigorously uses some harsh words, I made a reply from the start but I realized not to make an argument with him let the traffic police do their job. As we going to the station and the tricycle driver gets the medical attention of his passenger, the traffic police which is a friend of mine told me discreetly he said If rules applied, it was my fault because they called it change direction, if there's impact that rule applies, he suggested to me that we should settle it for good so that our licenses will be given and he suggested to me also helped the medical expenses of the passengers. After hours of negotiation not to reach to high peak I give in what the traffic police told me I did what he said and the operator of the tricycle agreed. So there's is at least I've learned a lesson change direction is wrong! What i mean is before you make a U-turn check if it really clear or no approaching fast vehicles. I made some photos only aftermath not exactly in the crash site because I've not bring my digicam. good thing it wasn't that bad, at least meron comprehensive insurance..and just in the nick of time..lapit na mag expire..at least na sulit na bayad. heheheh. pa renew ninyo ulit sir.
