Sir share ko lng, kung namamahalan na po kayo sa mga synthetic....try valvoline recommended ng Jeff-Offroad dito sa baguio po kc 1 lit is 350 pesos for strADA club member.good for 10km interval, right now im using Top1 synthetic oil 315 per lit at 10km interval....both are good products with website to check-on.i have also installed Smart gauge to monitor my system and using Top1 is good also...ill be shifting to Valvoline as recommended by an Off-roader and Highway guru here in baguio.share ko lng po

mga ganyan nga aabutin bro.

yung 19k bro hindi lang kasi timing belt papalitan....may mga iba pang parts na katulong or kasama ng timing belt na papalitan na din. may less pa yan na 35% sa parts at 15% ata sa labor....so mga 12k-14k nalang yan.....plus 90k pms mga 14k-16k ata. if i were you.....sa labas mo na lang pagawa yung pms kung kapos ka sa budget.

honestly, medyo hindi talaga na mamaintain yung strada because of busyness (father ko kasi gumagamit) and wala na sa tamang PMS since makuha siya in 2007. last PMS was done in 2010 (march) tapos ngayon ko lang ulit napasok sa casa.

sa initial quotation kung magkano aabutin. the estimate was around 40k. that's all in. kasi timing belt palang 19,700 na raw.
meron pa daw discount pero hindi ko lang alam kung gano kalaki mababawas sa initial quote.

will post the initial quotation para makita niyo po. gusto ko lang po kasi maka siguro na tama yung mga na quote. need ko lang po feedbacks and suggestion if ever. thanks

one more thing, yung strada nag lolow power once na nag shift sa 2nd or 3rd gear or higher (sumisinok).

At VP, sir Durablend and Max ay ok sir....pero ok na yung 10km na Durablend synthetic oil sir....dito sa baguio ang bigay ni Jeff-Offroad ay 350 for Strada Club po...yung Nitto Terra Grappler ko ay binigay nya ng 8800 per piece bro.

5w40 talaga ang rating pag fitted with EGR.. sabi ng marami masyado malabnaw yung 5w40, pero yun talaga ang recommended.. kaya ako dito pa rin ako..

Sir may nabasa ako na yung owner ng pajero gumamit ng malabnaw na motor oil and pag-abot ng 60km plus ng mileage ay ngkakatok na daw engine...and sinabi din po ng co-faculty ko dito SLU na ang masyadong malabnaw na motor-oil ay medyo delikado sa engine dahil ala na sya protection at ang egr lang naman ay para sa heating intake ng engine para pagnagcompression na ay mainit na sya for us diesel users....but then its better to follow the required field of motor oil. Thats why ok na yung 10w40 na synthetic po or 15w40 synthetic.may lecture notes me ng CRDI po if gusto nu po makakuha....just give me your email po. Shared information lang po not to cause a discussion.thank you.

hehe nakita ko rin yan sir...problema kasi dun....yung 4m40 is a non commonrail engine tapos nilagyan ng Crdi specific engine oil...

so ang tendency parang binetsin nya yung makina....

papasa nalang sir sa fb yung notes nung sa crdi sir ha...thanks a lot!

Abangan nalang natin kung kakatok engine ko, right now my mileage is 57+++. So mga 3k nalang, Im starting using synthetic oil 5w40 on my 10k PMS until now I use Mobil1 Diesel Truck . I also use once Motul Crdi 5w40 din yata yung rating nun.

So far so good pa rin engine ko its more quieter than the new release in casa, maingay lang yung release bearing ko yata yung may problema. Kasi when you depress the clutch nawawala yung ingay, I hope mahabol pa sa warranty.

Mga partner, open na young shop ko for basic servicing ng MBA straws na outside warranty coverage na, basic like change oil and filters egr cleaning. Bring your ownoil and filts nga Lang tayo. Charges for change oil is php500, egr cleaning pinagjuusapan pa naming ng dad ko.
By appointment nag Lang tayo, kasi siyempre ang priority ng mekaniko ko isyung nga makina naming sa field, you can just drop me a pm or contact me thru my cell numbers.

By the way this service is open only to club members......hehehehehehe
