i can only find my pmp records for 20k, 25k, 30k. here it goes:

It seemed strange to me that the differential and transmission oils were changed since the unit is still new. Sabi daw ng service advisor kailangan palitan na. The oil filter is also very expensive compared to the ones posted earlier in this thread .

Tsk, tsk, tsk, mukhang something anomalous is happening in Baguio Motorplaza. Di pa naman kailangan palitan yung transmission and differential fluid, pinalitan na nila. I'll check nga sa manual ano ang recommended time to change this fluids.

*Ianmitsulancer, can we hear the side of Motorplaza Baguio on this issue of PMS of G01? Thanks.

Trivia: The service center of Motorplaza Baguio is located separately at Marcos Hiway near the Baguio City Border in contrast to the Showroom (Tambayan ko) at Bokawkan Road near City Hall.

I will be dropping by their office this coming Wednesday (day-off) to inquire about this.

Thank you, Ianmitsulancer. Please do post any information that you can get from Motorplaza Service Center regarding this matter. I was surprised when my wife told me on the phone that she paid more than 5K because from what I read earlier in this thread, the cost of 1K PMS with the use of mineral oil is around 3K, and this is the amount that I told my wife before she brought our unit to the service center. I thought she opted to use synthetic oil that's why it costs more than the projected price. When my wife sent me thru text messaging the list of things she paid, I was even more surprised to learn that the extra cost is due to the replacement of the transmission and differential oils.

Motorplaza Baguio has so far been very good to me. They’ve treated me well when I was still in the process of acquiring my unit. I was also given more discount / freebies than their standard give-away offers.

I am still in China and been very busy visiting various factories. Will be going to the Canton Fair next week. I will be back on the night of May 2nd and my wife and I will be spending the night in Manila. The following day we have to drop by at a Nissan dealer to get a refund of the reservation fee that I paid when I first thought of getting the “other pick-up truck”. Will be heading straight to Baguio after getting the refund.

During my 5k PMS c/o SFM San Pablo, I told my SA that I noticed oil markings from the rear diff, although I never noticed oil on my garage. He mentioned that it could just be oil that was not wiped off properly during the 1k PMS c/o Citimotors after the change of transmission and differential oils which according to the SA na routine daw yun sa 1k PMS. I checked my receipt of my 1k PMS, these oils were not included in the list so I assume they were not changed. So, ano ba talaga dapat??? Maybe MMPC should be made aware of these discrepancies.

hi guys,

i just had my 30K PMP that is the only time that they change my gear oil, i did check the manuals, and it conforms that we replaced the gear oil in our differential every 30K. i think it's absurd that they had it changed in the 1K pmp. differential gears are just emerged in the oil (NOT PUMPED) and there is magnet at the drain cock of the differential to catch any metal particles or (beruta) that might have fell down from the gear. Bad Casa

hindi ko sir napansin kung binaba yung evaporator.. inabutan kasi lunchbreak pag balik ko mga 3PM nilalagyan na freon.. hindi ko natanong.. nakita ko lang nilinis yung labasan yata ng hangin yun eto sir yung pic..





kasama na yung freon dun.. teka parang nasa break down yata nakalagay "labor - evaporator pulldown" double check ko sir..

tagal din ginawa. almost 4hrs.. ok naman yung pagkakalinis, kasi dati pag naka blower lang ang baho nung hangin, amoy basang basahan.. ngayon ok na..

[SIZE=2]A few days before meeting up with G01, i went to my usual tambayan of the Mitsu showroom here and read the owners manual and warranty manual- on the 1000 kms PMS section, it is clearly stated that there is NO indication whatsoever to changing the oil and differential fluids.

Upon our arrival at the Marcos Highway service center, the SA welcomed us with G01 holding on to his service documents that showed the fluid replacements and asked them -- "why?" and replied:

- That this is upon the recommendation of the Service Advisors of the Plant in MMPC, Cainta that the fluid may be changed and Motorplaza as well as their other dealers in La Union and Pangasinan claims that they have been doing this procedure on all the RWD (4x2 or 4x4) vehicles with the differential and Manual Transmission ever since they opened shop.
In this connection, may i ask Mikko_018 if this procedure has been done on his Strada GLS since it was purchased and probably serviced at Motorplaza Urdanta, Pangasinan Branch?

-Although it may be an option or the car owner can tell the SA not to change the fluid. In this case, there was no hesitation on the part of G01's kumander who serviced the car and she actually questioned the SA why the procedure was costly at P5,000+

-Another reason why they push for the fluid replacement is because of the small metal particles that may come in contact with the sprockets inside the differential may cause friction and grinding will happen. The small coin shaped like magnet cannot attract all of those partices, thus, draining it is the best procedure to do.

There was no documentation or memorandums shown to us regarding Motorplaza's initiative to change the fluid despite we asking for it.
What crossed my mind was despite this recommendation for the change, WHY is it not stupulated on the Warranty Booklet?

I think this is a question best answered by the plant- unfortunately, my acquaintance at the service dept resigned recently. But i can check on whoever i know at the Marketing Dept on whoever i can ask about soon.

Thanks for the initial feedback on that. I really don't know who to believe. Just like when i was at Union motors manila, they wanted that engine cleaning stuff but as I remember, I dont remember citimotors las pinas doing that to my car and to the price that they gave was quiet high and I dont see it in their PMS booklet/leaflet. Of course after checking my bill, i do see this engine treatment but the cost is so different. This is my opinion, i think dealers would create their own memorandum or policy on how they should do certain PMS. By adding this and that to increase profit. This is alarming and kind of sad. I don't see their standardization on maintenance of our automobiles. I see this as a business and nothing more. If warranty is an issue and having our rides be serviced by their dealers for three years or 100K KM, and their is no standard treatment, i see this as a loophole. I am not a lawyer, but i see this as evidence that dealers does not have a standard PMS procedure/package. You can see in this thread the different cost of PMS paid by our members. I've had cars before and mostly serviced in dealers within its warranty period, but my eyes just opened to the fact that, owners are being ripped off somehow. I dont mind paying for something that car needs, if it is standard and treated to all. I understand part cost would differ a bit, but what to check and replace is something different.

doing a back read, i also took note that brynlops had this issue wherein the said oils were changed- at least motorplaza is not alone- carworld is doing it also. but what was more mind-boggling on the part of brynlops was his PMS was 8K for the 1000kms routine!

av8or5, about engine cleaning stuff? is that to flush out the old oil?

Im also curious as to why X1-R got into carworld's procedure??? i thought that as-on-seen-TV products are a no-no sa casa?

I wasn't able to to catch the Quality Assurance Team of Mitsubishi while they test driving the All-New Lancer EX here... that would have been a good opportunity for me to ask. BUT considering that alainroyce might know someone ([SIZE=1]as mentioned at the strada merged threads that he will contact the chief engineer of MMPC about the leaf spring issue[/SIZE]) maybe we can ask him too. i will PM him.

Yes, standardization of PMS procedure IS needed to be fair.
