1.) one of my friends handed over his car keys (2nd hand corolla pero he just had it for a month!) to someone he borrowed money from

Yung casino filipino sa mai airport lagi pang may shows hehehe kung ayaw mo mag laro pwede naman manood ka lang minsan may entrance fee minsan wala. depende kung may mga show sure mahal ang entrance fee..

most of the (dunno what they're called technically, will call them) games are rigged in favor of the house. di ba ung roulette, you can either bet black or red, tapos me two slots wherein nobody wins? that makes the odds roughly 50-50, pero slightly biased towards the house.

My brother used to work at PAGCOR long time ago, panahon pa ng floating casino, he have a lot of those type of stories.

But one thing that I remember most is the one about a local chinese millionare (well now a former millionare) who used to own a hotel and because of heavy loses in the casino was forced to sell his hotel.

That hotel ended up in the hands of one of Marcos's cronies and my father ended up working in that hotel upto the mid 80's just right before Marcos was thrown out.
