Please pray for the eternal repose of the soul of former PBA Commissioner RODRIGO "RUDY" SALUD, father of current PBA Commissioner Atty. Chito Salud. He was the head of the Philippine Basketball Association from 1988 to 1992 and the founding secretary-general of the World Boxing Council.

Former PBA commissioner dies
MANILA (1st UPDATE) - Rodrigo "Rudy" Salud, former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) commissioner, died Monday morning from a lingering heart condition.
He was 72.
Chito Salud, the current PBA commissioner, confirmed the news to ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) sportscaster Boyet Sison.
The elder Salud was PBA commissioner from 1988 to 1992.
