Tsikot Fantasy NBA Season III

hi everyone!

this thread is to gauge interest and confirm participation in the 3rd season of our very popular and fun Fantasy NBA league. the league is for tsikoteers that are NBA fans, and are willing to become dedicated, active and committed fantasy team managers.

last year we ran two hotly contested and challenging leagues - one on tsikot.com and the other on gadgets.ph - using the Yahoo! Fantasy Sports site.

this year we will be running two leagues, an A and B league, with 12 members each (24 players total). the commissioner team will be comprised of the two league winners from last year, M54 Powered and ILuvDetailing.

what are the requirements?
1. must be an active member of tsikot.com
2. must be willing to commit to actively managing their fantasy team for the entire 2006-07 NBA regular season
3. must know the rules of fantasy NBA, or be willing to learn

How do i sign up?

1. if you are one of the 16 members in the list above, post in this thread to confirm your participation. it's as simple as that!
2. if you're interested in one of the 8 remaining slots, please post your interest in this thread.
3. players will have until 11:59 pm friday, september 1 (philippines time) to sign up.
4. to ensure our new members are familiar, active and have a high level of sportsmanship, preference will be given to tsikoteers who post consistently on the forums and in the Perpetual NBA thread, and have high activity levels.
5. membership decisions will be decided by the commish team, M54 and ILD. we promise to be as fair, impartial and objective as we possibly can with this.

we have too many vets for just one league, so we will put the GM's with the top 12 winning records in the A league and the others in the B league together with the new members. in future seasons, we will continue to reseed the leagues in this way to create more competition and incentive to stay in the A league, but at the same time allow newer or less experienced members to gain experience in the B league.

when signups are finished i'll create another thread that explains the rules and sets up the draft. but it will be basically similar to last year's Head-to-Head format.
