i have to say though, parang wala pa akong player nakita na kasing polarizing ni abueva sa pba. you either hate him or love him (depending on your team preference). talagang walang in-between. w/ that said, i want to see him don the national colors soon. iyon nga lang baka mauwi sa rumble parati ang laro :rofl01:
Di a si Sonny Jaworski ganoon din? Either you love him or hate him?

jaworski as polarizing as abueva? i don't know about that. siguro nung height ng crispa-toyota rivalry (pero hindi pa ko talaga naabutan iyan so ewan ko lang). pero hindi ba respetado siya sa labas ng basketball ng peers niya (outside of fernandez and the crispa guys i suppose )?

i for one am not a ginebra fanatic nor a jaworski fan but the respect is there for me because when i was a kid, my father and i had a fleeting chance encounter w/ the big j himself in front of a telephone booth (ang tagal na nun considering pilahan pa iyong mga pldt red phones) and he acquitted himself quite nicely by being a gentleman and all. he was soft spoken plus he let my father use the phone first w/c left an indelible mark on a young impressionable child like me. so yeah, i'm okay w/ him but i won't get into a fist fight for his benefit

as for abueva, the hate in the ncaa for this guy was palpable (only the baste guys loved him) that even a non-ncaa fan like me can feel the animosity whenever he played. i'm guessing this hate thing would carry over to the pro leagues in and out of the hardcourt

Ang ping uusapan naman na love him or hate him is only on the court di ba? I think jaworski is one of those...
