Expensive Vaccines:are they necessary for our babies?

I have a 6 month-old baby and she is having these very expensive shots like rotaviral (3600) and pneumococcal (4600) & infantrix (3600) making us in financial distress everymonth. she already had two shots of each and is now due for the last shots of each of those. are these really necessary for my baby? any fellow parents?pls comment

Man, you really have to . . . my child got that rotavirus in Austin grabe awang-awa ako halos ma-dehydrate sya. Kaya yun nahawa ako , just to experience yung dehydration grabe talaga . . .

Some type of prevention is better than the available cures..though not all vaccines have really been very well tested to be effective, it would wouldn't hurt to invest on these things..

After all, in this world, health is wealth (not the monetary wealth)

Mas mabuting makumpleto po ang bakuna ng bata, mas magandang makaiwas sa sakit dahil higit na malaki ang magagastos kung matuluyang magkasakit ang bata. Yes kelangan talaga. Naaawa na nga ako sa dami ng vaccine nya noon pero kelangan talaga para mapangalagaan kalusugan niya. Ngayong 4 yr old na siya once a year na lang yung vaccine niya.

I can't believe somebody is weighing the cost of expenses versus the health of their children!

The vaccines will pay off in the long run. Consider it an investment. Having a child is never cheap, but a parent doesn't think of that.

Shots for the first 2 years is very important and necessary. Kung may malapit na
Health Center sa inyo available halos lahat ng vaccines ng baby for free or any
donation. Tyagaan lang, kung di available tsaka mo na lang pa-vaccine sa
Pediatrician n’ya.

Merck has been heavily promoting its HPV vaccine. Pansin nyo sa major dailies there are these full page ads about HPV/cervical cancer.
