Restoring Eye Vision

GOod Evening mga ka tsikooters, anyways, napansin ko kasi biglang lumabo mata ko, ewan ko, hindi pa naman ako ganun katanda 27 years old pa lang ako. Yung vision ko parang lumalabo na, sa work ko importante pa naman ang vision.
Is there a possible way na ma-restore ito? Need help po, especially sa mga doctors natin dito.hehe

Best thing to do is see an ophthalmologist, not optometrist. Is it blurry pag malayo o malapit? Cloudy vision?
Being young doesnt mean di lalabo mata mo. I started wearing glasses at 11yrs old. Its in your genes kung lalabo talaga mata mo at a certain age.
I've had laser surgery 11yrs ago, so far malinaw pa rin and no adverse effects yung surgery.
Again best thing is consult an eye doctor.

american eye center in shang, costs 65k then. downside-drying eyes especially in cold weather, night vision is poorer than normal, starburst lights at dark. but advantage far outweighs the disadvantage, laki ng ginhawa ko nung nawala na glasses ko and i have supervision on daytime haha

yes, i was diagnosed with astigmatism before when i had eyeglasses. libre naman consultation sa american eye if you are eligible for lasik. um it was free before, dont know now

based sa experience ko, last 2006 lagi ako sinasakitan ng ulo so nagpa-check ako ng mata kasi ganon din yung pinsan ko dati, astigmatism lang daw. pinag-salamin ako para pang-correct daw. then regular check up para malaman kung may improvement. pero ang nangyari parang mas lumala pa. kasi yung lens ko kailangan daw palitan ng mas mataas na grado. tapos may nakapagsabi sakin na mas nakakalabo pa daw ng mata pag palagi nakasalamin... so, ayun tinigil ko na lang... so far, ok na naman. di na din sumasakit ulo ko gaya nung una.

ok lang di magsalamin if grade mo around 100 lang. i was using 400 and 500 grade before, so pagwala akong salamin i cannot recognize a face 15ft away, kaya hindi ako pwede walang glasses

hindi naman sumasakit but i dont remove my eyeglasses except when swimming or of course sleeping

Had Lasik surgery over 10 years ago. Back then it was 25k per eye at the American Eye Center. Absolutely no regrets with it. My night vision hasn't been affected. Biggest drawback for me is dry eyes.

BTW, I was wearing contacts prior to getting the surgery. 700+ grade on both eyes. If you are thinking of doing the surgery, they might have to ask you top stop using contacts for a few months.

yes, i have poorer night vision now than before, but at least i can still drive without my glasses as compared to before. ganito nalang isipin mo lahat ng super heroes may weakness despite their gifts, i have supervision on daytime but poor night vision...and of course sometimes drying eyes hehe

but will i ever have lasik surgery now having experienced above? yes, definitely no hesitation because the advantages far outweighs the disadvantages

btw not all will have 20/15 or 20/10 results, i was lucky to be one. my friend who recently had hers done at american eye center did not even get 20/20, around 30/20 sa kanya

how safe and dangerous is it?
did you experience any side effects?
what should i expect before, during and after the surgery? (pain,discomfort,itchy eyes)
is it true that once you've had lasik done di na ulit lalabo mata mo?
i heard it's better to have it done earlier since you'll have a better chance at getting 20/20 eye vision. how true is that?
those permanent side effects mentioned earlier like poor night vision and dry eyes, where they able to fix it since optometrist now has better technology and more knowledge about it than compared to 5-10 years ago?

currently my eye vision is 175 on left and 125 on right also i have astigmatism and in my mid 20's. it sucks that my eye sight is that bad already at such a young age but my work requires me to be on the computer almost all day. 2 years ago lang nag start lumabo mata ko but once it started pa labo na ng pa labo.

2005, in American eye center in Shang. costs Php65k then. vision is 20/15 - 20/20.
it is pretty safe, my doctor told me before complications usually arise not from the surgery but during the healing process when you rub your eyes forcefully. you see, they will cut a flap in the cornea before you have the lasik. the lasik itself is not painful but they have to cut the cornea.

the operation lasts about 5min lang, they will put a contraption that will secure your eyelids so you will not be able to blink. you will experience extreme itchiness after the operation and make sure you do not scratch your eyes kasi yung cornea is still not fully healed and may dislodge out of place.

yung paglabo ng mata is caused by the elongation of the eye globe. i think better if you do the operation mid20's or early thirties since hindi na masyado nag elongate yung globe natin. this will be explained to you when you have the check up

side effects now..drying of eyes sometimes, starburst lights, poor night vision. they gave me a video of my surgery hehe parang horror movie, made me flinch when i watched it haha
