Pansin ko ibang doctors at TMC they treat card holders differently. We've been going to med city for the past two years. There are doctors na kulang nalang itaboy ka sa clinic nila dahil maxicare holder ang wife ko. I thought at TMI, WHERE PATIENTS ARE PARTNERS.

maybe because mas mababa ang bayad ng card sa mga doctors compared sa regular patients.

Baka depende din sa doctor.. pero na feel ko din yan dati... pag ibang tao ang tagal.. pag turn ko na wala pang 5min tapos na.. hehehe... pero when a minor procedure is to be perform, na pwede naman out patient, my doctor insisted that I stay in the hospital for 1 to 2 days and he got me one of the best doctor to perform the procedure that is not accredited by my HMO but he assure me na pwede daw pa reimburse...

yup there are some. my allergolist is really nice pag may mga test sa akin siya pa nagreremind to use my benefit. but this male pedia of my son yesterday was really an a$$... bastos sumagot. he was texting while talking to us. twice pa niyang inulit na maxicare ako w/c was very irrelevant sa mga tanong ko with my son's sickness as if bawal mag tanong. time to find a doctor na matino!

Mas maganda nga sir kuha kayo ng ibang doctor na accredited din ng health card niyo.. kasi sayang din naman... much better kung referred by your friend or relatives.. I remember before hindi naman related sa topic pero this shows how incompetent mga hospital/doctor natin dito sa bansa... My Brother is experiencing extreme pain so dinala ko sa Lourdes hospital(Emergency) x-ray then binigyan ng gamot.. after an 30min while driving I decided to bring Him to Cardinal pina dumi siya... so we went home... after a day bumalik siya ng Cardinal and found out he needs an emergency operation dahil may butas daw yung intestines niya...

anong color ba maxicare ninyo? kapag platinum ok naman sila.

I suggest sa mismong maxicare clinics na kayo magpa check up definitely mababait sila compared sa iba.

If you are treated badly or are uncomfortable with the doctor assigned by MEDICARE-TMC, just go to them and tell them about it and request for a different doctor. No sense continuing to seek treatment from someone who doesn't give a hoot about his patient, whether or not he's HMO or paying in cash.

^ paano mo nalaman na pasosyal? Sa suot, sa kulay ng balat? Ang health card ba pinamudmod ng gobyerno? Paano kung binayaran mo yun or given to an employee as benefit? So are you saying it's the card holders' at fault not the doctor nor the hospital who tied-up with the hmo?

At paano mo din nalaman na abuso ang ginagawa? Do you see the same old faces again and again? Isa ka ba sa mga true sosyal na naiirita sa mga tulad ko na ipapacheckup ang bata dahil may sakit to seek help from doctors?
