I bike every other day to work on a folding bike for 20km one way.

Takes me 45 minutes to 1 hour to do one way.

With my car, it takes me about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.

I take the back roads as much as possible to avoid as much car made pollution as I can. But then again, riding a jeepney or an ordinary bus will expose you to the same pollution.

    Lets discuss!

You can bring to your cubicle or locker room a folding bike.

folding bike naman so pwede dalhin sa loob ng building. may container bag pa nga iyong iba for their folding bikes

siguro ang concern ko diyan if may shower room available. i'd like to feel fresh after the long bike.

If wala shower room, sponge bath sa CR with SOME alcohol and baby powder does the same thing.

Powdered baby wet wipes are even better.

years ago, i used to bike to work. an ordinary, "pang-deliver-ng-pandesal" variety.
until i decided it was too dangerous.
i feel our traffics here are not bicycle-friendly.

kanina ang dami babae nagbike commuting. Meron bike and yung nakatayo na you dont pedal nakastationary parang pambata maliit gulong ano ba tawag doon.

as long as they know the rules of the road and abide by them.

    these people kasi,
    they're motorists masquerading as pedestrians.
    dangerous.

    55 thousand pesos,
    for a single-speed bike,
    at wala pang tapalodo,
    at i-isa lang ang brake?

at pambabae pa ang borloloy stickers...

it must have a really great reputation...

They are not, in the same way it is not motorbike friendly.

With that said, take the lane and use blinkers and reflecrors. Wear a helmet.

That will keep you as safe as riding a motorbike.
