Which do you think is a better water saving measure? Bathing by shower? or Tabo and pail? This has to do with the almost water crisis we had before Chedeng and Dodong, just got me thinking..

Depends how strong your water pressure is to begin with actually... if your shower can only trickle, I'm pretty sure that'll save more water.

Good thing about using a pail/bucket, though is usually we subsconsciously limit ourselves to that bucket alone, so it's rationed already.

mas matipid ang shower - yung may rain-like spray shower head.

pero kung yung shower eh walang shower head as in rekta -mas

    aksayado yun.

A pail and tabo for me? Yuk. Gimmee a 55-gallon drum. The pail will be my tabo.

My aunt's house in Cavite actually had a 55-gal drum full of water in the bathroom. Normally, they''d dip the pail in the drum to get water and use an Alaska can as a tabo.

The first time I was there, I used up all the water in the drum using the pail as my tabo. My aunt was so pissed, she made me fill it back up. Well you know, she was next after me.

Tabo or shower saves more water
