Besides TM, there's JG, Boyi, G&G, Classic Army, G&P, ICS, King ARMS, and CYMA brands. Airsoft has ever become more popular due to these cheaper and better value (METAL BODIES) than TM. TM may boast of better gear box, but heck who hasn't changed their internals to reach 410-540 FPS. Common FPS out of the box is 320 FPS, including TM.

If you are in QC, there's Young Guns located 3rd floor ICEBerg, Timog cor. MO. Ignacia st. They sell different brands including TM and offer gunsmiting services. While waiting, may ice cream sa baba...

You can test all you want pa.,wait for the year end sale.

Sir, you can check the shops mentioned above. Usually last week of December up to first week of January.

Sir, for 9k, i'd rather get a full metal ACM aeg (automatic electric gun). I'm not a fan of gas powered guns, reliability issues.

Ranging from 5-9k.mahal din pala. Isn't that better? Newbie sa ganito but interested so please educate us. I'm not using it for airsoft games but plinking sa bahay and maybe sa bukid pag may mga mickey mouse.

Airguns need to be registered AFAIK.

Nope. Haharangin lang yan sa customs, and even courier companies are wary of guns or anything resembling guns under the Xray machine.

Airsoft is different from airguns. the former fire plastic spherical pellets (like paintballs but smaller, about 6mm and solid) while airguns uses metal bullets and can be lethal. Airsoft can still be dangerous but provided you were at least eye protection, all it makes will be bruises, welts and scratches.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both gas and electric. For one thing mas realistic ang gas, mas mura ang electric. Mas madali din palakasin ang electric.

I'm not looking for realistic naman. I just want a "toy" that can be used backyard for plinking but also deadly for rodents.

I remember my tito who has an airgun, pag naubos hangin kelangan pa nya pakargahan yung tank nya. Mas viable ata yun for my use

If its just for backyard plinking and you really want less maintenance, get a springer/bolt action rifle, they are also cheaper dahil walang electricals or extra tubing. But if you want a quick second-shot capability, any automatic electric rifle will do. Just charge the battery. Note that both may not have the "power" to kill vermin if that is important for you.
