Let's share tips, ideas and best places for drones.

I have the Mavic 2 Zoom. Bought it during ECQ para magmunimuni sa roads around, kung traffic ba and kung saan ang checkpoints.

    Nice.

Any problems with the fly zone, flight, complaints from neighbors?

Actually, I have no idea sa mga no fly zones around town. Maybe there’s none.

Regarding complaints from neighbors, since nasa province kami, baka ignorante pa mga tao and naaliw pa sa drones. Although, I see to it to fly it very high before moving around para hindi scandalous yung noise ng drone.

Tapos mag medyo gamay mo na, you can start moving up.

Very intelligent na sya not to hit objects, to fly back home if lost signal, or if not enough battery na.

I was able to fly it 4km away (8km yata max distance) with line of sight.

Technically, you're supposed to get a permit ... but guess it's not strictly implemented ...

    Sa CAAP hindi lahat.

Drone pilot license and/or permit to operate a drone are only required if the drone weighs more than 7kgs. However, if use is commercial, then weight does not matter and you have to register. Most of us naman are just hobby and recreational pilots.

Here is an interesting webinar: REMOTELY PILOTED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM AND FLIGHT SAFETY: WEBINAR SERIES | Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines

Naka 2 flymore pack ako. Nagkukulang talaga battery since around 20min lang per batt, pag malakas pa hangin mas lumalakas batt drain.

So far sa lugar ko accurate.

I like the wind direction indicator. Allows me to fly headwind and return tailwind.

Ang hindi accurate (translation: ignored) ay whether good or not good to fly. Too conservative. Pilot judgment na ito

Ilang beses na akong nagpalipad na "Not Good to Fly" at okay pa naman

I have DJI Phantom 2 Vision+, Mavic Pro and Mavic Air. So far DJI is doing it's job in preventing pilots to fly to those restricted areas like airports or military installations.

Not so loud and does not attract unwanted attentions plus napaka stable when flying. Also yung ascent speed nya is mabilis.

Yung Mavic Air maganda sana kaso sobrang ingay and mahina when flying against the headwind.
