peeps, i saw this sa mall. nakababad yung paa sa isang container na me tubig. yung tao nakahawak sa dalawang bakal na stainless na wired toward an equipment. then after some time nagiiba yung kulay ng tubig. the one i witness turned into brown. parang putik. kadiri nga eh. bawat color daw eh nag rerepresent ng body parts. yung brown could be liver. that means me toxic yung liver nya.

has anyone tried this? effective kaya?

Yes I've tried it. The color of the water depends on the contaminants present in the water so you have to start with purified water then add the saline solution till you reach the desired conduction. You feel relaxed and sleepy after the 30 min session and can do it every other day 14x so 28 day program sya. Prices of the machines range from P15,000- P125,000.

could be just simple chemistry working there. The rate of color change in the water depends on the minerals already present in the water. Add a couple of copper (or was it iron?) electrodes and a small current. Presto! <kuno!>

Anong kulay ng wire? Copper wires will produce the brown color.

Baka dumi lang yon ng paa?

I don't believe in that. If he's holding the stainless wired thing with both hands, this is definitely bad for those with heart problems as the current can pass through one arm and out the other through the heart.

BTW, a company selling "Pi-Water" did something similar to demostrate the advantages of his product.

He took a sample of the bottled water we have in the office in a glass. He also took another glass and filled it with pi-water. Using a device with TWO metal electrodes and powered from the wall outlet, he immersed the electrodes into the water. The water slowly turned brown around the areas of the electrodes. He also did the same thing in the pi-water glass. The amount of "brown" staining is supposed to visually represent the amount of toxins and impurities that is found in our drinking water.

On closer inspection of the device, its basically a step down power transformer with two copper or brass-looking electrodes and an LED light to show if its on or off.

Anyway, our glass turned a touch more brown than the pi-water glass. It would simply signify that there is slightly more dissolved salts & minerals which would conduct more electricity from the electrodes as compared to the pi-water sample.

I wonder what would have been the result if I handed him a glass of pure distilled water?

For what it's worth, yung tubig ba provided nila? Kasi if you use tap water, for sure may minerals yon dissolved sa tubig. Kung deionized or distilled water yung ginamit, it may be different kaya?

Hhhmmmm...ang alam kong effective na detox ay water therapy lang for 1-2 days. Kapag nagutom ka oatmeal lang.

Ang sa akin lang, that is as stupid as iridology. Probably even more stupid.

She will believe almost anything. Sobrang daling maloko.

I'm not buying it. uls is right, there are natural ways to detoxify. In addition to pee, poop, and sweat, we have to inhale deeply then exhale.

    Chip, I agree it's a snake oil.
