memps is that the lake in siaton? the last time we went up there was in 98', it was 10km of super rough roads, on of the 4wds with us destroyed its shock bushings due to the rough road. And we thought that it was just 10mins away from the highway .

If you plan to sleep inside the car again its also better to open the hood to make the engine cooler and the fumes would not enter the cab that much.

Yup that's the one. As of last year the road going into the lake side is half cemented na, approximately 11.5kms. I was able to post here a pic of my Max crossing the river just before the entrance sa lake; yeah, way back a long time ago Welcome to Hell talaga ang daan doon hehehe.

Yes, we opened the hood nga. I remember kasi, at that time there was no hint of rain so ok lang i-open.

    Totoo po yan.

There are days na parang nanghihinayang rin ako; sana I got a 4x4 variant nalang para all weather and conditions. Mas makapit kasi if you got all wheel drive especially sa mountain twistees or even cornering sa hi-way.

Push button pa naman ang 4x4 LS ng Dmax!

    Haaay!

    memps,

kala ko 4x4 ka because of the river crossing. ako rin tulo pa rin laway ko sa 4x4. but it's 300k php more than our 4x2 dmax. ung extra 300k php na lang pang-dagdag na lang for trade-in sa 2007 dmax.. yahoo!

I don't cross rivers that often naman dito

At that time kasi when I got mine (P998,000) kapos ako sa budget then I've been waiting for 6 months already for the return of the LS variant and when the first batch rolled-in, puro 4x2 rin.

I remember the night before I got my Dmax. Hindi ako makatulog kasi parang pasko the following day I was too excited to smell that brand new interior and turn the key for the first time!

Has anyone read the new Ford book - Ford and the American Dream by Clifton Lambreth - www.thefordbook.com. This is a great story of what happened to the american auto industry.

    Hi everyone,

This is my first time to post here. I'm not sure if this question has been posted here before. I am sorry if this post makes it redundant.
Anyways, I am looking for a bed mounted roll bar that can be installed on an Iisuzu Dmax.
These are nice looking bars(http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/s..._roll_bars.asp), and I hope a similar or fabricated ones are available here in the Phils. If anyone knows any shop that I can get similar bars for a Dmax, I'd appreciate a reply.
    thanks!
