Hello guys! My own fuel test result.. almost same driving condition..

Caltex Vortex Gold 7.68km/li
Shell Velocity 7.31km/li

difference of .370Km/li (65li full tank) = 24.05km

I will load up Petron XCS this week

Johnnyd: yung sound nangyayari lang pag malakas yung bass. Pag bawasan yung bass nawawala naman (baka di kaya ng stock speakers? Or maybe di maganda pagkabit ng speaker na yun? Dun lang sa isang speaker, eh).
You're right, di naman gano kataas xty, but im thinking baka magamit ng anak ko habang lumalaki (6 months old palang). Also parang nagagandahan ako (at NKI where I work in QC, may mga 3 xtys ako nakikita palagi, lahat may stepboard and window visors, naiinggit ako, hehe. Dati ba freebies yun?)

Doc Caloy, I don't think maluwag yung speakers, its bolted on using three self tapping screws, most probobly the noise your hearing is the vibration of the panels, medyo kulang sa sound deadening yung Xty natin.

Don't think kailangan na ng Stepboards, it only lowers the ground clearance. Sa visors naman kanya kanyang taste lang, for me di ko masyado type. :D

ILD: Thanks! Sa panel nga siguro. Pwede pa ba i-tighten yun or something? Nakabili ako years ago ng mga Dynamat (sale kasi, kahit la pa ako nun paglalagyan, hehe) at never ko pa nagamit. Will this help kung kinabit?
Hmm binaba to 12k yung price for 2 stepboards and 4 window visors...
Isuzuzoom: I always use XCS. Sa lumang accord ko dati malaki ang difference in terms of smoothness of acceleration. Parang feeling ko nalilinis yung fuel injectors, hehe. Avg mileage (purely city driving) 7.4km/L. Nung one time na nag-tagaytay ako for the weekend, at the end of the week 8.5km/L.

doc, I don't think tightening it would help, already tried it, yung panels mismo sa loob ng pinto nagvivibrate, you need something to absorb the vibration, thats where sound deadening comes in. Ok yang Dynamat.

I usually fill up at Shell, on my last two full tanks am getting an average of 7.78/li. Ngayon Petron Xtra unleaded gamit ko, lets see if it makes a difference

ILD: napansin ko pagmadalas ako di kumakain ng lunch (sobrang busy), tumataas fuel consumption -- mas humahataw at naiinis kasi sa pagdrive, haha. Kaso pag kumain naman eh di gastos din, haha!
In comparing Petron Xtra unleaded and XCS, parang hindi significant yung difference in mileage sa akin, pero keep in mind ginagamit ko yung Xtra unleaded only for the 1st 2-3 tanks -- baka mas efficient ngayon engine (ganun nga ba nangyayari? Nasa 2000kms na odometer ko).
Will have the dynamats installed when I can. Tinignan ko sa ibang forum how to remove the panelling of the doors, pero di ko maintindihan! Payag kaya sa casa na ilagay?
