Wah! Sunod sunod nga yung ulan! Di pa ako makapag experiment!
BTW, I realized I lacked a few things. Wala pa akong wax applicator and wash mitt.
I visited True Value again pero wala sila nung mga Megs wax applicators. I was looking for alternatives when I saw the AutoGard Super Sponge (parang block na shammy). Pwede na kaya itong applicator? Like shammies, wala syang masyadong pores.. Malambot din naman sya.
Nakabili na rin ako ng eagle one QD! Looks really good. Now I'm thinking if I'm going to use the Zymol Detail for clay duty and have EO for real QD duty or should I do the opposite!
Still looking for a good washmitt though.. Might visit concorde later. Ang gastos magaral ng detailing. Wah!

patopig: Just think of it as your initial invenstment. Wash Mitts should last you for around a year or so, same with the foam pads. And you don't just throw them away, you can use old washmitts to wash wheel wells and the underchassis, old towels to wipe down the engine bay and wheels.

patopig: dilute the QD you're using for clay duty. para madami.. car shampoo with water will also suffice.

Thanks again masters! Ehehehe. Yup, I was thinking na lang din na at least sa simula lang yung bulk ng gastos since yung mga MF, washmitts, dusters reusable naman. Good thing na lang din may napagtatanungan ako bago bumili (on what to look for) para di nasasayang yung pera! Salamat uli ng marami!

Ngak. I opened the Auto-Gard Super Sponge, it was really smooth but it was also damp. I remembered that since it is a big block of chamois, kelangan talaga mejo damp sya para di manigas. Ok pa rin kaya ito pang apply ng wax (if the surface has been washed and clayed properly) kahit mejo may konting basa sya? It is really smooth though..

that's sponge is as good as a paper weight, keep it away from your paint.

Ganyan din binili ko when I could'nt find any foam pad applicators(and when I was starting). Its not porous enough to spread the wax evenly. Kahit nga pang carwash di sya maganda hehehe. Use terry cloth towels na lang to apply wax
sa macro maganda magshopping ng pang detail. I got a gallon of EO QD and shampoo at half the price of what is sold in True Value.
