    Ouch. That's too much for me to maintain without outside help. Heck. We had only 4 acres in New York and I thought that was too much work.

    I had to rent a riding mower to cut the wild grass. Good thing the rental company did delivery and pick up.

    My 80 year old Uncle said it's the "work" that keeps him strong. Though at home they have a cleaning lady since my Aunt finds cleaning too much work already.

    I suppose he has the time. Up in Upstate New York, most plants are seasonal. They die in autumn and require to be cleared out because they're a fire hazard. I was the only one willing to do any yard work. So, it can get tiring.

    Yard work is much easier here in Arizona because our lot is tiny in comparison.
